She was born July 15, 1902 at Netawaka, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas and Ella Grannell. She was graduated from Whiting High School and Emporia State College and taught school until she was married in 1927 to Leo Fagan. Then she was a retail clerk for her brother for 32 years.
Mrs. Fagan was a member of the St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Holton and the Mary Ann Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Fagan, March 26, 1966, her parents, and three brothers.
Survivors include two brothers, Leo Grannell, Holton and Charles Grannell, Pratt, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home.
