Lucinda "Sue" Cook, age 58, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. She was born on August 19, 1950, the daughter of F.G. and Georgia M. Leihr Bozarth.
She grew up in Halls, Missouri, and graduated from DeKalb High School in 1968. On February 8, 1968, she was united in marriage to Tom Cook in St. Joseph, Missouri. Following their marriage, they made their home in Atchison, Kansas and Rushville, Missouri. Unto this union, two sons were born. In 2001, they moved to their home in Warsaw.
She was a member of the Halls New Home Baptist Church. She dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren and was happiest spending time with them. She enjoyed fishing, tending to her flowers and just spending time in nature.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom, of the home, two sons, Tommy Cook, and his wife, Sheli, of Atchison, Kansas and Rich Cook, and his wife, Joannah, of Warsaw, 9 grandchildren, her mother, Georgia Baublitt of Rushville, two brothers, Carl Leihr and Dick Bozarth, both of Rushville, Missouri, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Lucinda "Sue" Cook will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 11, 2008, at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Warsaw. Family will receive friends and hour prior to services on Monday at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. Memorials donations can be made to the National Parkison Foundation in care of the funeral home.
