He was born on October 27, 1951 in Clarksville to Thomas and Fay Willingham Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Janice Neal; and a brother, Jimmy Don Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Barnett Smith of Clarksville; mother, Fay Smith of Clarksville; son Phillip Smith of Clarksville; sisters Doris Browning of Leonard, and Becky Smith of Clarksville; brothers, Jackie Smith of Gilmer, and Mike Smith of Idabel, OK.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel with the Rev. Roddy Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are; Mike McGuire, Sidney Ingram, Paul Allen, Jeff Moore, G.A. Hines and Dusty Browning. Burial will follow in Whiteman's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
