Mrs. Pearl Rice Dies Monday
Mrs. Pearl Rice, 58, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Perry Stoner, of Troy at 5:15 P.M. Monday after a five month illness.
Mrs. Rice was born in Pleasant Hill, the daughter of James and Mary Brown. She had lived in Troy for the last fourteen years, where she was a member of the Congregation Christian Church, and the D. of A. lodge. Surviving besides the sister are a son, Roscoe, Anderson Ind., a granddaughter, and Kenneth Lewis, Troy, a nephew. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Stoner residence and burial will be made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
