Julia Kushner Mother of Emma Johnson, Elsie Kulaga, and Helen Kovalsky was a hard working woman. Came to this country from the old world with a paper pinned to her shirt with her name, date of birth, where she came from, and who she was to meet. She married George Kushner and worked in his tavern which was located on High St. in Perth Amboy. She was the grandmother of 12 and Later in life she would develop Alzheimer's which would claim her life. She died in June of 1967 in her daughter's house on Mechanic St. in Perth Amboy.
