Fluffernutt lived a long life but my heart is still broken. She loved to sit in the bathroom for many years while I showered. She loved to lay down on the floor with her Daddy when he laid down for a little while before going to work. She loved black olives and peppermints and straw wrappers blown at her. She loved catnip toys and playing with wadded up sheets of paper and jumping in and out of boxes or sacks. She loved many a dog we had, Simon, Sassy, Sugar, Cocoa, and Schatzi. She purred so sweetly when you pet her and she was a beautiful blue eyed cat. My daughter reminded me of how she liked flip flops. I guess there was something about the rubber they were made of. She would eat flip flops if you left them out. One time my daughter came to spend the night and had her flip flops zipped up in a gym bag. Fluffernutt managed to get the bag open and chew on the flip flops!
