James Willis Brumley, 69, died at his home, eight miles north of Graham, Texas on the Loving Highway. Services were held at Loving Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Hubert Foust, pastor of First Baptist Church assisted by Rev. Lawrence of Newcastle Baptist Church. Mr. Brumley was a retired farmer. He was a resident of Young County for many years. He formerly lived at Jean, Texas. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survived by his wife; three sons - James W. Brumley, Jr,, O.B. Brumley, Utah Brumley; four daughters - Mrs. W.H. Tatum, MRs. Adean Glover, Adelle Dodd, Celia Clayton; one step-daughter - Mrs Pearl Minkley; one brother - A.B. Brumley; two sisters - Cellia Hutt, Mamie Lee Mitchell.
