He was born June 4, 1900 in Todd, Huntingdon County, the son of James and Ella (Stake) Park. On June 24, 1921, in Three Springs, he married Ruth Covert who survives.
Also surviving are a son and daughter L. Roy and Betty Grove, both of Altoona. Four grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren survive.
Surviving are a brother and three sisters: Paul of Bedford, Nettie Dell of Wood and Hazel Cornelius and Mildred Park, both of Huntingdon.
Mr. Park was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Juniata. He retired as a supervisor from the Postal Transport Service in 1961. Interment was made in the Three Springs Cemetery.
