He retired from acting in 1993, but claimed the purest fun he had performing was supplying a voice for the low-budget YouTube animated series "Bad Vlad" under the pseudonym Nick Fury. Tony Ganios passed away from cardiac arrest after undergoing successful spinal cord surgery at the age of 64. He was on the way to the hospital to undergo dialysis at the time of his passing.
