Donna Stokes Baker passed away January 30, 2024, in Robert Lee, Texas. Donna was born on March 5, 1935, to Vera Bennett Stokes and Cecil Stokes in Coleman, Texas. She grew up in Coleman enjoying horses, being involved in Future Homemakers of America, and honored to be chosen as Homecoming Queen her senior year of high school.

Donna married Emmitt Edward Rankin and they had 3 daughters, Donna Diane Shaw, Lynn Ann Rankin, and Karol Suzanne Brown. After graduating from The University of Houston, Donna and Edward followed his career to many places including; Anaco, Venezuela; Gretna, LA; Midland, TX; Maracaibo, Venezuela; and Anchorage, Alaska. Donna taught home economics at several high schools during their moves.

Later in life, Donna settled down in San Angelo, TX, where she was employed by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services as a licenser for Texas Child Care. She married Robert "Bob" Baker. After Bob was ordained as a Priest and Bishop for the Traditional Anglican Church of America, they moved to Klamath Falls, OR. Bob served as Rector of Saint Marks Anglican Church of Klamath Falls. Donna was very active in many areas of the church for over 20 years.

Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Joe Shaw of Marshall, TX; daughter, Suzanne Brown of Benbrook, TX; step-son and wife, Bobby and Sharon Baker of San Angelo, TX; and step-daughter and husband, Becky and John Ireland of San Angelo, TX; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vera and Cecil Stokes; daughter, Lynn Ann Rankin; and brother, James "Jim" Cecil Stokes.

Private inurnment will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery In Klamath Falls, Oregon.
