She also appeared in his film "Vanina Vanini," but her career took a hit after the film received harsh criticism at the Venice Film Festival. Despite this setback, she made a comeback with Federico Fellini's "8½," a role that earned her a Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actress. She received the same award for her role in "Juliet of the Spirits." However, most of her subsequent roles were in second-rate films. In the mid-1960s, Milo was the hostess of a television program in Rome. She retired from acting in 1968, only to make a second comeback in 1979. Starting in the 1980s, she released four single recordings, but none were chart hits. Between 2006 to 2007, she toured Italy with the theatrical adaptation of "8 Women." She was also married to Moris Ergas, with whom she had her daughter Deborah, and to Ottavio De Lollis, with whom she had her children Ciro and Azzurra, but both marriages ended in divorce.
