Ikey Brobeck, age 86, of Midway, passed away Wednesday evening at Signature Healthcare.
He was a retired master craftsman in the plaster and sheetrock business. Ikey was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, archery, gardening, and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four children: Randy Brobeck, Kasandra (Bobby) Mathes, Jeff (Tina) Brobeck, and Kayla Brobeck Cornwell; grandchildren: James Allen King, Crystal Brobeck, Amber Brobeck Pierce, Sarah Brobeck Shelton, Wesley Brobeck, Jessica Brobeck Brown, Logan Mathes, Kaci Mathes Setsor, Lance Brobeck, Noah Brobeck, Kacton DeVoti, Kambrin DeVoti, Kandsley Cornwell; and several great-grandchildren.
Ikey was preceded in death by his wife: Kaye Shoun Brobeck; two sons: Mike Brobeck and Tim Brobeck; parents: Clarence and Julia Kate Brobeck; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tommy and Bertie Lou Shoun; and his hunting buddy: Ramsey Cutshall.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hamblen Memory Gardens
