Mr. Ray Johnston, 81, of 3556 Edgewater Dr. Jacksonville, FL. passed away Friday in a local hospital. He was a native of Clarksburg, W. Virginia and had resided here for the past 22 years. He was a member of the West Jacksonville Advent Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. R.V. Johnston, Jacksonville; one step-daughter, Mrs. Millie Hyman of New Orleans, LA., one step-son, Mr. W.C. Green, Jacksonville; 3 brothers, Gilbert Johnston, Tavares, FL., Clearance Johnston, Clarksburg, W.V., and Cecil Johnston, Baltimore, MD. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of Giddens-Griffith Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with Rev. Kenneth Olsen officiating. Interment will be held 3 P.M. in the Live Oak City Cemetery, Live Oak, FL.
