Ella Pittman, age 96, of Austin went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 22, 2005.
She was born on August 9, 1909, to John and Alice Simpson Thurman in Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Borders; daughters, Margaret Morgan and Ellen Swearingen.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William T. Pittman; one sister; nine grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and twenty five great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Swearingen, Chuck Dunaway, Bob Meservey, Tim Meservey, Steven Wheeler, and Wesley Swearingen.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2005 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home with Reverend Clyde Poldrack officiating. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
