Jacquelyn Dumas, 74, of San Antonio departed this life peacefully and entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She has faithfully served our Lord for 50 years and continued her journey until death. She was born April 30, 1948 to the late Ernest J. and Alexandria Mathilde Roubleaux Taylor in New Orleans, LA. She was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in San Antonio since 1973.
Jacquelyn is survived by her husband Wallace Dumas, her sons Lamont Dumas and Clinton Dumas, her daughter Nicole Dumas, her stepson Wallace Dumas, Jr., her brothers Ernest R. Taylor (Pauline) and Raymond Taylor (Rita), her sisters Lorraine Stewart, Veda Ann Brooks, and Aileen Van Meter, and her grandchildren Terrell Dumas, Darrin Thomas, Licia Dumas, and Deja Dumas.
In addition to her parents, Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her daughter Melicia Dumas and her stepdaughter Linda Dumas.
A chapel service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Grace Memorial Chapel beginning at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Trevor Brooks. Entombment will be Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum.
