Mrs. Jennie Bush
Mrs. Jennie Bush of Tyrone, a former resident of Huntingdon County, died at Shirleysburg on Friday afternoon, Nov. 11, 1949, at 1:40 o'clock.
She was born March 5, 1863, in Hares Valley, a daughter of William Park and Rachel (Long) Park. At the time of death she was aged 86 years, 8 months, and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Silas Bush, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one adopted son, Charles A. Bush, in Connecticut, one step-son Frank Bush of R.D.1, Huntingdon, one grandson,two step-grandsons, and one step-granddaughter. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Isaac Park of Maddensville; Mrs. Rhoda Miller of Bellwood and Clinton Park of Mapleton Depot. Four brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Bush was of the Methodist faith.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Brown's funeral home in Huntingdon, conducted by the Rev. Gilbert L. Bennett. Interment will take place in Cornelius Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
