"Surrounded by her loving family", Ann passed peacefully on Saturday,
November 8, 2008.
She was born in Elora, Ontario, Canada to Andrew and Mary Sherrer.
She had resided in Bend for about 20 years. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. She had been a member of the board of directors for the Northern California Women's Golf Association and past president of the Dallas, Texas Golf Association.
She is survived by a son, Mark and his wife, Viki McConnell, and daughter, Gayle McConnell and her husband, Steve Cunningham, both of Bend, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest W. and son, Roy McConnell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Touchmark Forum at 19800 Touchmark Way, with Larry Hanson officiating.
Contributions may be made to HospiceCenter, 2075 NE Wyatt Ct., Bend, OR 97701 in her memory.
Services are entrusted to Deschutes Memorial Chapel.
