Funeral services for Jennifer Turner Neely, 35, of Edwards will be held at 4:00 pm today from the First Baptist Church of Raymond. Dr. Mark Strum and Rev. Ed McDaniel will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm today at the church. Committal services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 11:00am in her hometown of Pontotoc, at Toxish Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ed McDaniel and Rev. Rusty Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Williams-Gershohm Cemetery in Pontotoc County.

Jennifer died unexpectedly of pneumonia on Thursday January 31, 2008 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Pontotoc and lived there until adulthood. She graduated from South Pontotoc High School and later attended Itawamba Community College and Lambuth University, earning a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She enjoyed working with students as a Speech Pathologist for Hinds County Department of Education. Jennifer was an active member of First Baptist Church Raymond. She loved serving the Lord and was always willing to help those in need.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Brian Neely of Edwards, formerly of Itta Bena, and their devoted son, Wesley Neely. Jennifer said that she could never love anyone more than her husband and son. She is also survived by her adoring parents, James "Shorty" Turner and Shirley Turner of Pontotoc and her in-laws, Robert and Becky Neely of Itta Bena. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Ed and Jenay Neely Blackstone of Greenwood, and D'Wayne and Kristi Jordan of Itta Bena.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents Roscoe and Lillie Turner of Pontotoc and James Wesley Oren and Ruby Vance of Houlka, MS.

Memorials may be made to the Women's Ministry at First Baptist Church Raymond, P.O. Box 728, Raymond, MS 39154. Jennifer touched many lives in a positive and loving manner. She loved her family, friends, but most of all, the Lord. There is no doubt that she is an angel in heaven. She is deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Pallbearers will be John Burt, Jason Burt, Keith Snellings, Andrew Snellings, Brad Banes, Kenny Banes, Chad Stocks and Greg Bain.
