HENRIETTA,Texas-Florine(Sternadel) Pittman, 90, of Shannon, Texas, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L.C. Smith of Bowie, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in the Shannon, Texas, Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas.
Mrs. Pittman was born to Joe and Elsie (Malhuski)Sternadel on February 18, 1918, in Archer County, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of the Squaw Mountain Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Pittman, Sr. in 1979 and one daughter Kristi Lynn Pittman.
Survivors include three sons, Herman L. Pittman, Jr. of Shannon, Carl Pittman and his wife Sharron of Wichita Falls, Texas, Rodney Pittman of Friendswood, Texas; three daughters, Virginia Pittman, Werdna Smith of Dean, Texas, Patricia Eanes and her husband of Prospect, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine Hadley of Wichita Falls, Texas; three brothers, Ed Sternadel of Scotland, Texas, James Sternadel of Wichita Falls, Texas, and George Sternadel of Duncan, Okla.
Visitation will be at the Davis Funeral Home on Monday everning from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
