Mrs. Jewel E. Robberson, 76, of 1802 Parsifal, resident of Victoria since 1951, died at 1:03 p.m. Monday in a local hospital following a long illness. She was born Oct. 24, 1904 in Beeville, and was a member of the Baptist church. Her husband was the late Benton W. Robberson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Gardens Chapel on the Cuero highway with C. 0. Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Colonial Funeral Home on Red River until noon Wednesday when it will be taken to the chapel for services. Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Kirby of Victoria and Ruby Nell Hays of Houston; two sons, LeRoy Robberson and Clint Robberson, both of Victoria; a sister, Angie Esse of -Kenedy; two brothers, Weyman Dial and Freeman Dial, both of Beeville; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
