She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Louie David Taylor Sr. and Betty Mae Abernathy Taylor. She worked for many years at Stanley Total Living Center.
She is survived by her husband, Bert Alan Lambert; one son, Robert Alan Lambert of Mount Holly and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lambert will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Febr. 10, 2016, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with the Rev. Adam Green officiating.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
