Funeral services for Mrs. Moussori Frances "Sue" Sanders Sykes Cross, 81, of Lake Charles, LA, were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at Winona Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Dillman officiating.
Burial was held at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Duck Hill with Oliver Funeral Home of Winona in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Cross died Monday, July 8, 2002 of heart failure at Calcam Hospital in Sulpher, LA.
She was retired from Ceramic Business. She was also a member of Winona Church of Christ.
Survivors include parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Abner Asberry Sanders; two sisters-in-law, Susie Timbs of Duck Hill and Dorothy Sanders of Winona; one brother-in-law, Lois Jones of Winona; a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her first husband, the late Henry Sykes, and her second husband, the late Letau Cross.
Pallbearers were Morris Timbs, Robert Deaton, Sonny Ellis, Ricky Jones, and Curley Rainey.
