Oscar Trevino, 63, of Garden City was called home on January 24, 2021 to be with our Heavenly Fathers. He planted love in the lives of many who knew him. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 28, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.

He was born March 1, 1957 to Lucila and Pedro Trevino in Muzquiz, Coahuila. He will be remembered for his undoubted patience, his wise words, the way he could make you feel like you were the most important person in the world. He would just sit and listen, he flourished through conversation. Oscar loved to spend time watching the Dallas Cowboys, driving kids on the bus, and most importantly spending time outside enjoying his grandkids. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, and those that had the privilege of knowing him are blessed. He was employed by Garden City ISD. Oscar led a very full life surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed and remembered with his bright smile and kind words.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Martha Fraga, eight children Lucy Perez, Donato Gonzalez, Analisa Gonzalez, Noemi Paz, Steven Trevino, Lori Cervantes, Alicia Diaz and Oscar Javier Trevino, twelve grandchildren, Kristan Diaz, Ernesto Diaz lll, Jacob Diaz, Aliyana Perez, Jianni Perez, Genesis Garcia, Xavier Garcia, Yamilet Garcia, Amaya Gonzalez, Mia Gonzalez, Jocelyn Paz, Jaclyn Paz, three brothers, Joe Trevino, Pete Trevino and Jesse Trevino, three sisters, Lucy Dominguez, Rosa Garza and Mary Ellen Trevino and his mother Lucila Trevino.

Pall Bearers will be Steven Trevino, Fernando Dominguez, Pete Trevino, Joe Trevino, Jesse Trevino, Adrian Trevino and Ramiro Garza. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Clifton, Tony Gomez and Scott Becknel.
