Shirley Jean Vaughan 88, Springfield, MO, passed away January 16, 2021, in her home. She was born in Whittenberg, Texas, on May 11, 1932, to Kenneth and Lousia (Lewis) Epps. Shirley was a retired diamond consultant for Service Merchandise and Wal-Mart Stores. Shirley was a member of Temple Baptist Church, and a former member of Beta Signa Phi. She loved doing craft work and sewing, she also loved reading old western books and watching old western movies on T.V.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Claude Vaughan, her son: Kenneth Vaughan, her grandson: Michael and her two sons-in-law: Albert Leslie and Rick McManomy. Being the last survivor in her own family, she was also preceded in death by her six siblings. She is survived by her three daughters: Donna (Johnny), Claudia and Melinda, and her two sons: Chris (Pam) and James (Christina), 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Burial in Buckhorn, MO cemetery.
