WHO WE ARE–
This is the officially authorized Contributor Page of the Gann Historical Society & Library, Inc. We are a contributor to FindAGrave for the purpose of adding to and managing a repository for memorials of the Gann Family (spelling variations include: Gann, Gan, Ghan, Gano, Gahn, Gannes, etc) and allied family memorials. We appreciate and welcome transfers from anyone who desires to place a Gann related memorial into our care. Note that the management of this project is overseen by volunteers.
~~~~
EDITS–
While we welcome all edits that will help to accurately update our memorials, it saves us research time and we greatly appreciate when edits are submitted with documentation through the "Suggest Other Edits" link. The exception to this is if it is a jpg file, etc., these can be submitted using the dedicated email associated with this account and please include the memorial name and Findagrave number in the email. We also welcome any biographical information and obituaries that other contributors might wish to send us concerning the memorials in our care.
~~~~
TRANSFERS–
We will transfer memorials to other contributors in accordance with Find-A-Grave guidelines. If you wish us to transfer a memorial to you, kindly send us a request through the " Suggest Other Edits" or the "contact manager" features on the memorial you wish to acquire with an explanation of how you are related to the deceased.

WANT TO KNOW MORE–
If YOU are a member of the GHS&L and are interested in helping us with this project, we let us know through an email.

We are able to exist and operate solely through donations and membership dues. The Gann Historical Society & Library is a volunteer-run, tax-exempt non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to promoting an interest in genealogy and in the Gann family (Gan, Ghan, Gano, Gant, Gannes) & community history through its programs of education, preservation & exchange. The Society publishes an award-winning quarterly newsletter, the "Gann Gazette". The Gazette contains articles & news stories on real people & events, queries & other articles to help you in your genealogical research.

The GHS&L, Inc. maintains a database of over 50,000 names. Variations in the spelling of the Gann surname are found such as Gann, Gan, Ghan, Gano, Gant, Gannes. Thousands of other surnames are included in the database. The information in the database is entered from family trees that are submitted by persons who are willing to share their heritage. We invite you to contact the GHS&L, Inc. for more information on searching for your ancestors.
