Find A Grave member # 47352945 brought it to my attention that the last name may be spelled Chilcote. Various records spell it both ways. Whether he chose to spell his last name differently than his parents or whether the spelling on his tombstone is an error is not known. The funeral home record has it spelled both ways. Additionally, the funeral home record shows his date of death as February 4th.
In an effort to avoid a duplicate memorial in the future, I'm leaving his last name as it is spelled on his tombstone.
