Obituary for Mr. Cecil "Rip" Parker
Mr. Cecil "Rip" Parker Jr, age 74, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his residence in Marks, MS. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 12 o'clock noon until service time beginning 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Kimbro Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Crowder Cemetery.
Rip was a retired mechanic for John Deere, an avid hunter, worker, enjoyed riding the tractor, loved his family and especially his grand babies.
Those whom he leaves behind to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Ellen Parker of Marks, MS; one daughter Tammie Welch (Dennis) of Pope, MS; one son Cecil Parker III "Lil Rip" (Paula) of Senatobia, MS; two sisters Janet Adams of Humbolt, TN; Amy Elmore (Kevin) of Marks, MS; twelve grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Sr & Mamie Parker, one sister Alice Campbell, two brothers James & Douglas Parker. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Baptist Memorial North MS in Oxford, MS.
