Born June 15, 1958 to Betty Brinkley and James Otis (Pearline) Manning in Gallatin, TN. He is preceded in death by his son, Rickey Aaron, Jr., his Aunt Rita Jones and brother Wallace Branham.
Rickey accepted Christ at an early age in Hendersonville, Tennessee at Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, where he sung in the choir. He attended Knox Doss Middle & Hendersonville High School where he was beyond an amazing athlete in every sport. He also attended college at Vol State. He worked for Fitts Concrete, where he was a dedicated hard worker.
To know Rickey was to love him. He had the most amazing sense of humor,always joking and laughing, contagious smile, he met no strangers. He will always be remembered for his asks of kindness, his strength and love for his family and friends. He could hit a baseball from here to Antarctica, trust me.
The fond memories of him will continually flood the hearts of all those who were blessed to cross his path.
