Apollonia was born in Cordel, Rheinland, Germany the daughter of Johannes Biwer and Catharine Scharding and emigrated to the United States in the late 1850's. Was not able to learn any details of her death, but it is believed she was buried at Nunnery Hill Cemetery. The cemetery closed in the late 1880's and bodies were relocated to St. Mary's cemetery in Troy Hill.
