WEST POINT — Dimple Martin Brasher, 96, died Sept. 29, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Roy Myers officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Brasher was born June 15, 1923, in Holcomb, to the late Luther Lamar and Genera Bell Martin. She was formerly employed as a Wildlife Management Officer with the U.S. Forestry Service in Yazoo City and as a supervisor with Grenada Industries in Grenada. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewel Gail Brasher Sr. She is survived by her two daughters,; one son; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
