He was born April 12, 1922, in Farmersville, Texas and had lived in Lake County for 38 years.
Mr. Arey was retired from PG&E and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He loved traveling in his RV and was a member of the Good Sam Club.
Mr. Arey is survived by his wife, Bonney; two daughters, Aria Glenn of Lakeport and Donna DeRond of Brownsville, Calif.; sister, Genieva Arey of Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
