Born Carmen Antimo Argenziano, he made his television acting debut in 1969 on the series "Judd for the Defense". Besides "Stargate SG-1", he went on to appear in numerous other television series during his career such as "Columbo," "Police Story," "The Rockford Files," "The Greatest American Hero," "Hill Street Blues," "Hunter," "Heartbeat," "Melrose Place," "JAG," "The Practice," and "CSI: NY." He made his film debut in the 1970 film "Cover Me Babe" and went on to appear in other such productions as "The Godfather: Part II" (1974), "Capone" (1975), "Two-Minute Warning" (1976), "Graduation Day" (1981), "Sudden Impact" (1983), "Stand and Deliver" (1988), "The Accused" (1988), and "Angels and Demons" (2009).
