Patent trader - Thursday, June 20, 1974, Pg. 4: - MAHOPAC — Louis Miller, of Gregory Avenue, died suddenly Sunday at Putnam Community Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Miller was born June 26, 1903 in Mahopac, son of the late William and Anna Miller. He leaves his wife, Theresa, of the home address. He was a former member of the carpenter's union and had been a retired employee of the Lee-Mac Sand and Gravel company in Cold. Spring. Besides his wife, Mr. Miller leaves two sons, Robert and William, both of Mahopac; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Van Earden, of Scotia, N Y. ; three sisters, Mrs. Marian Smith and Mrs. Mabel Swarm, both of Mahopac, and Mrs. William Catlin of Ticonderoga, N.Y.; three brothers, William, of New York, Donald, of Mahopac, and Walter, of Florida; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, with Rev. Leo Insinga, pastor of the Red Mills Baptist Church, Mahopac Falls, officiating. Burial was in the Union Valley Cemetery, Mahopac.
