Bonham- Funeral services for Terry Glen Trout, age 63, of Ravenna, TX will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel Bonham, TX. Jeff Whatley will officiate; interment will be at IOOF Cemetery. Mr. Trout passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at home.
Terry Glen Trout was born on August 24, 1955 in Bonham, TX to Glendell Ray and Rita Mae (Adams) Trout. He enjoyed fishing and hunting arrow heads; helping others when he could, and loved playing and particularly aggravating his nieces and nephews. Mr. Trout was a self-employed painter and a member of Church of Christ.
He is survived by sister, Debra and Andy Walker of Ravenna; step son, Chris Shastid and wife Nequita of Ivanhoe; granddaughters, Isabella and Brylee Shastid of Ivanhoe; aunt, Linda Carter and husband Cecil of Hot Springs Village, AR; brother-n-law, Mike Weissert of Bonham; nieces and nephews, Dawn Nichols and husband Brad of Ravenna, Amy O’Neal and husband Justin of Hooks, Jason Walker and wife Ashely of Ravenna, and Dylan Thacker of Hooks; great nieces and nephews, Brady, Bailee, Addison, Delaney, Acelynn, Trinity, Colton, and Cooper, along with several cousins and close friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Mac Barker, Dewayne Snow, Jason Walker, Chris Shastid, Dylan Thacker and Justin O’Neal. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mike Weissert, Billy Munger, Gary Lane and Randy Warnell.
Visitation will be prior to the service at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home starting at 1:00 pm.
