Edward Harris was born on October 23, 1929 in Coleman, Oklahoma to Robert Harris and Flora (Harner) Harris. He attended Fillmore Schools and married Bertha Berry on August 15, 1947 in Johnston County. He lived in California for a few years and moved to Oklahoma City in 1952. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Transcon Motor Freight, from which he retired after over 30 years of service.
He was preceded his parents; his wife; his son, Charles Edward Harris; a brother and a sister.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Edwards and husband Michael of Oklahoma City; his brother, Everett Harris, also of Oklahoma City; other relatives and friends.
Family Members served as Pallbearers.
