We are pained to announce the death of Miss Abbie Fleming, daughter of Mr. J. W. Fleming of the Age of Progress. She died yesterday afternoon at about two o'clock, and will be buried at nine this morning. The bereaved parents have our sincere, but useless sympathy. Words of ours cannot heal their lacerated hearts, nor bring surcease of sorrow.

Gravesite Details
Abbie's age on her headstone appears to be 17 rather than 12. This would correspond with her age listed in the 1870 San Saba County, Texas, census.
