Evelyn Van Beek, 86, went home to be with her Lord on April 10, 2007. Evelyn was born in Lynden, WA. April 17, 1920, and had been residing at Marysville Care Center for the past seven years. She married Conrad Van Beek on June 15, 1945, in Lynden, WA, and in 1947 they moved to Everett where they raised their four sons. Evelyn was a faithful homemaker and lifetime member of the Everett Christian Reform Church.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Duane (Donna) Van Beek, of Pasco, WA, Dennis (Shirley) Van Beek, of Everett, Arvin (Alice) Van Beek, of Marysville, and Alan (Norma) Van Beek, of Outlook. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Hamstra; sisters and brother-in-laws, Joyce and Tony Honcoop, Wilma and Ted Triezenberg; and a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Van Beek; sisters, Tracy Bogaard, Emma Vanderpol and Barbara Nyhoff.

Viewing will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2007, and from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Avenue Marysville, WA. Graveside Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Evergreen Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2007, at the Everett Christian Reform Church, 1429 McDougall, Everett, WA.

Memorials can be made to Everett Christian Reform Church Memorial Fund or Keith Revoir Children's Camp Fund of 1st Convenant Church at 4502 Rucker Avenue, Everett, WA. 98201; a living memorial fund dear to Arvin and Alice Van Beek, or a charity of your choice.
