Obituaries.

William L. Woods was born near Franklin, Johnson county, Indiana, February 8, 1876, and died about 12 miles west of Alva, Okla., March 29, 1915. He is a son of John H. and Martha Woods of this city and is survived by his wife, Daisy and son, Forrest Bryon.

Mr. Woods with two neighbors was hauling wheat to Alva, and as they started down a hill, Mr. Woods, who was on the middle wagon, reached to put on the brake. As he did so the wheel went into a depression, throwing him off the wagon and he fell in such a position that the wheels ran over his head killing him instantly. Mrs. Woods and son, Forrest, and Mr. Homer L. Woods, a brother, accompanied the body here, arriving on No. 9 Wednesday morning.

The funeral services will be held this morning from the home of his brother, George, at 11 o'clock. Rev. Goff officiating. Burial will be made in the Stafford cemetery.
