Roman Catholic Pope. He was the one hundred and thirty-first occupant of the Holy See (May 964-June 964). His appointment was the consequence of the deposition of Pope John XII. However, after a very brief pontificate, he was replaced by Pope Leo VIII because of a decision of the Emperor Otto I.
