Daughter of Ethel and Walter Chappell of Sussex County. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Norman Edgar Dailey; her son, James Thomas Dailey; and her sister, Shirley Bailey. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kathy Elaine Dailey. She leaves behind three very adored grandchildren, James Matthew Dailey, Kathryn Marie Dailey and Taylor St. John; her brother-in-law, Curtis Bailey; and her dear nieces and nephew. Barbara's faith in God was endless, and she deeply loved her church and her friends. Her faith sustained her through the unending love and care she gave Norman in his long battle with cancer. Barbara's daughter, Kathy sincerely thanks Mark Daniel Smith for staying at her side, Denise Jenkins Jarelle for her love and support, Michael Lee Hawley for being a true friend, Bruce Carlton for his dedication and love, and Alan Ray, our pastor at Ridge Baptist Church, always a phone call away.
