He was an Italian lawyer, patriot and politician.
In 1859 he was a member of the provisional council of Forli, then deputy in the Assembly of Romagna and Minister of Public Education of the Legacies. In the Farini government he was part of the Legislative Committee for the assimilation of Pontifical Papers to those Sardinians and was also Minister of Finance in the provisional government of Emilia in 1860.
He was deputy of the Kingdom of Sardinia in 1860 and a Member of the Kingdom of Italy from 1861 to 1865.
