JoAnne Grantham, an amazing woman of faith, was welcomed peacefully in the arms of her loving Savior, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born July 18, 1935, in McAlester, Oklahoma.
She married Everett Grantham on March 28, 1953. They have been married 64 years. JoAnne loved the Lord and her church family at Parkside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Mimi), great grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. “Her children arise up, and call her blessed.” Proverbs 31:28
JoAnne is survived by her loving family, husband, Everett Grantham; daughters, Pamela Lemons and husband, Keith of Aledo, TX; and Rhonda Thornhill and husband, Stephen of Denison, TX; grandchildren, Grant and Ashleyanne Thornhill of Plano, TX; Amber Sustala and husband, Jud of Aledo, TX and great grandchildren, London, Paisley, and Barrett Sustala; sisters, Mary Carr of Arlington, TX; and Edna Akins of McAlester, OK. JoAnne was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad Grantham Lemons.
Funeral service for JoAnne will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Dr. Chet Haney officiating. Private interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery.Family and friends will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Fisher Funeral Home.
