Mr. Moreno proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as an Electrician in the Maintenance Department of BISD until his retirement.
Left to eternally treasure their memories of him are his wife of 53 years of marriage, Ninfa Moreno; 4 daughters, Ida (Joe) Garcia, Diana (David) Silva, Roxanna Moreno and Laura (Jamie) Smith; 1 son, Adalberto Moreno, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Andrea, Bryan, Katie, Julie and Daniel; and 1 great-grandson, Atticus.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard in Brownsville with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Military honors will be rendered by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2035 at the graveside.
