"Atkins

Lloyd Atkins, 74 of Rt. 3, Bean Station died Thursday, Jan. 19.

Of the Baptist faith, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ruthie Miller and Mossey Lawrence, and brothers, Mark and Leonard Atkins.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie D. Atkins; sons, Dana Atkins of Rogersville, J. L. Atkins of Bean Station and Albert E. Atkins of Church Hill; daughter, Eva Hixon of Rutledge; brothers, Floyd Atkins of Bean Station, Chester Atkins of Rutledge and James Collins of Knoxville; sister, Sally Evans of Bean Station, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown with Rev. Dayton Lovin officiating.

Burial was in Hamblen Memory Gardens."
