WEST HAVEN - Anna Marellda Taylor Gibson, 81, died Wednesday, February 22, 1995 in a local nursing home.

She was born July 9, 1913 in Plain City, a daughter of John Henry and Delilah Hansen Taylor.

She married William Raymond Gibson on October 8, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 14, 1975.

She had lived in Plain City, Taylor, and Layton. She attended the Weber County Schools. She was a member of the Wilson 2nd Ward and formerly a member of the Taylor Ward and Layton 10th Ward. She served in the Primary, Relief Society and Young Women's Organizations. She was a Visiting Teacher for many years. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, and was loved by all who touched her life.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter: Gary Gibson (Gladys), West Haven; Nolan Gibson (Pat), Phoenix, AZ; Arlene Wilson (Web), and Ross Gibson (Marlene), all of Ogden; Joe Gibson (Diane), North Ogden; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Emery A. Taylor, and four sisters, Anonda East, Sylvia Hadfield, Lila Davison, and Barbara Howey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, with former Bishop Earl Staker of the Taylor 1st Ward, officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 2:45 p.m. Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
