PAMPA - John M. Carr, 92, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Jerry Bell of pastoral care at Park Central officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mr. Carr was born July 23, 1914, in McClain County, Okla. He married Viola Hawkins of Plainview in 1938. She passed away in December 2005.

He worked for SPS on system construction and retired from the Amarillo Northeast Service Center after 35 years.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Roberts, Gertrude Miller and Ada Masterson.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Fore and husband Gordon of Pampa; a sister, Martha Pybas of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Johnnie Woodard of Borger and David Fore of Rogers, Ark.; four great-grandchildren, Brad Woodard and Stephanie Woodard, both of Amarillo, Faith Woodard of Borger and Trevor Fore of Rogers.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, in care of Olivia's Angels, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.

Pallbearers will be David Fore, Joey Woodard, Brad Woodard and Trevor Fore. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephanie Woodard and Faith Woodard.
