Ronald Ronnie "Bop Bop" Moss, 77, of 436 Holly Ridge Road, Blacksburg, S.C. passed away Wednesday, December 28th, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, S.C. he was the husband of Brenda Gilfillan Moss and the son of the late James Ambers Moss and Maggie Wilson Moss.

He retired as a Meat Market Manager and was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church. He was Meat Market Manager at Community Cash for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and a former member of Cherokee National Country Club. He loved all ball sports, especially playing softball and watching nephews and nieces play baseball and softball. He was a 2012 inductee into the Blacksburg High School Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Shirley Owen of Lake Wylie, S.C.; and many special nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, J. C. and Roy Gene Moss, and five sisters, Eula Young, Geneva Jenkins, Pat Howe, Evaleen Patterson, and Blanche Allen.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30th, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Nazareth Baptist Church, 1156 Ninety-nine Island Rd, Blacksburg, S.C. 29702 with Rev. Vernon Moore and Rev. Jamie Billings officiating. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens Masoleum. Pallbearers are Jason Gilfillan, Jordon Culbertson, Jonathan Smith, Marvin Leagon, Gary Moss, Lee Blanton, and Donnie Young. Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Moss, Mike Moss, and Jerry Young.

Memorials may be made to Iron City Ministries, 109 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, S.C. 29702 or Meals on Wheels, 403 West Montgomery Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
