Revolutionary War Solider. Served as a private in Captain Witcomb's company of the regiment commanded by Colonel Poor in New Hampshire. Many people believe that this is the same Aaron Clough that also married Hannah Gale in New Hampshire in the year 1806. This isn't possible. I have attached a declaration for a widows pension where Elizabeth (Clark) Clough made her mark, and my 4th great grandfather Thaddeus clough signed while living in the state of Vermont. Elizabeth Clough was still living as of 14 November 1843. This is three years after Aaron Clough's death in 1840. Elizabeth is buried next to Aaron in the Old Yard Cemetery.
