She was born Oct. 17, 1970, in Benton, the daughter of Robert Eugene and Betty Elaine (Bozovich) Braden.
Mrs. Mariano is survived by her husband, Charles Raymond Mariano of West Frankfort; daughter, Madison Marie Carnahan of Benton; son, William Robert Gusentine of Energy; granddaughter, Riley Marie Reed; stepson, Kristopher Ryan Mariano of Indianapolis, Indiana; stepdaughter, Nicole Marie Meyers of Pittsburg; two stepgranddaughters, Ashley Nicole Turner and Danielle Elizabeth Meyers; brothers and sisters, Nick James Braden of Benton, William E. Braden and wife, Rose Charlene of Benton, Roberta Elaine Sentel and husband, Kenneth Dale of Creal Springs, Jeffrey Allen Braden of Oklahoma, Clarence Boyd Braden of Benton, and Jeanie Almyra Hoyle of Florida; sister-in-law, Vanessa Lee Braden of Akin; several nieces, nephews, cousins, anuts and uncles.
Tanya was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Scott Edward Braden.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, in Morton and Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a mental health association of your choice.
