Robert Eugene BRADEN, 65, of 1106 Lickliter Street, died at 7:52 a.m.
Thursday, May 4, 2000 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral
Home, Benton, with the Rev. Mark MINOR officiating. Visitation will be
from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. BRADEN was born April 25, 1935, in Benton, the son of Arthur and
Bessie Ellen (KAYS) BRADEN. He married the former Betty BOZOVICH in
1952. She survives.
He was the owner/operator of Braden Auto Sales for 30 years. He later
owned and operated Braden Bit & Tool, both in Benton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty BRADEN; eight children, Nick
BRADEN, William and wife Charlene BRADEN, Roberta and husband Kenneth
SENTEL, Jeffrey BRADEN, Scott BRADEN, Clarence BRADEN, Jeanie HOYLE,
Tonya and husband Matthew CARNAHAN, all of Benton; twenty-one
grandchildren, Michael BRADEN, Christopher BRADEN, Brandi BRADEN, Kelly
BRADEN, Rachel BRADEN, Jessica SENTEL, Elijah SENTEL, Nichole BRADEN,
Lucas BRADEN, Brooklyn BRADEN, Heather BRADEN, Mendi BRADEN, Amanda
BRADEN, Bradley BRADEN, Travis BRADEN, Jennifer MADDOX, Melissa BRADEN,
